I had lunch in the Wagon Wheel Cafe in pastoral Hebron, North Dakota (pop 747). It is worlds apart from the highly conflicted Hebron where I’ve spent time in Palestine / Occupied Palestine / Palestnian Territories / Israel / or Judea and Samaria, the ‘name’ dependent on your politics.
Another Graceland, this in New Salem, North Dakota. No Elvis sightings here!
We don’t have a Branders of the Future Chapter in my town??

Being 62, I was invited to join the meatball supper at the Golden Age Club in Napolean, North Dakota. A group of dozens of friends who have known each other from childhood get together weekly.

The only problem was ‘dusk’ is 10pm!
The 3 miles of my cross country trip I was not allowed to cycle! Heavy road equipment widening the shoulders made it too dangerous. I made up for the distance cycling 10+ miles around Fargo, without recording it.
Now THAT’S my idea of a great town!!
My high school never had a Rodeo Association club.
